Test printing a few compression designs.
Compression seems promising. I don't think such a small nipple would be easily 3D printable on a consumer/hobbyist 3D printer. It would be on a stratasys or the like of course.
Later today I'll design the whole part. I want to open a little shop to sell widgets like this so maybe this could be the first one (open source of course). I'll have to clear it with work since it is technically a competing product
By the way, Parrot's design is a pitot tube only, with no static measurement. This is because that is a really bad place to put a static port.
Similarly, my design is probably going to have two separate parts.
